Partners
MIST is a partnership between the California Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Investigations Branch, and the Sequoia Foundation.

The study is made possible by funding from the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP).

MIST’s generationally-linked data and specimens derive from the California Biobank Program’s biospecimen repository and linked database.

Our laboratory partner, the Tobacco Biomarker Core Facility at the University of California, San Francisco, is conducting cotinine analysis on newborn dried blood spot specimens for MIST.
